Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. parsley finely chopped
  • 1 kilo kilo lean beef
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 medium size onion chopped
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 stalk stalk celery chopped
  • 2 cups mushrooms sliced
  • 3 cups beef stock
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

    Instructions

    How to cook Beef with Mushrooms:

    • Cut beef into 1/2 inch cubes. Dredge with flour and heat oil in a skillet and fry beef until brown.
    • Lower heat and add remaining ingredients except mushrooms.
    • Cover and bring to a boil. Simmer until beef is tender.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste and add mushrooms during the last five minutes of cooking time.
    • Serve hot. Good for 6 to 8 servings.
